I have a huge problem. I have a new Boyfriend. We both live in different states. We’ve known each other since high school. We’ve been together for six months. Because we live so far away from each other, I don’t know if hes being faithful or not. I went in his phone to upload our pictures on facebook and I saw pictures of a naked woman. She had money stuffed in her thong & bent over. He had pictures of her private part. Am I being naive? Please let me know what you think.

So you have a new long distance boyfriend and you found nude photos of another woman in his phone. You’re wondering if he’s cheating?
Well, chances are he’s not. Those pictures could have been downloaded from the internet or passed on to him by one of his friends. The real issue here is why you feel that you have to look for signs that he is going to hurt you. When or IF he hurts you, it will be out in the open for everyone to see and you won’t be able to miss it.
You don’t have to guess, wonder or look for the signs, it will be clear and obvious to you. The best thing I can tell you right now is to focus on yourself and your happiness. Does he make you happy when you are together? If so, enjoy that. When things fall apart, they will fall apart and there will be nothing you can do to hold them together. Until that happens, enjoy your relationship and stop trying to prevent pain. When you try to prevent pain you actually create it before it happens.
Relax. Trust him. Stop looking for signs that he’s going to hurt you and look for signs that he loves you. Focus on these instead.
