Sometimes My Savvy Sisters aren’t perfect. Sometimes My Savvy Sisters break the rules. Sometimes, we need a confessional to release the guilt. This is just the place for it too.
Confession: I Can’t Hear You
I only pretend to be listening when you speak. I’m actually thinking about all the ways I wish I could run away and be alone. But I sit there and I’m quiet and I nod my head because I don’t want to hurt your feelings.
I’m not listening. I can’t hear you. I don’t care what you have to say. I think you’re dumb. I wish we weren’t friends but I owe you money so I sit there and smile and pretend.
For My Savvy Sisters: Do you have something you need to confess and let go of? Submit your confession to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll post your confession anonymously. Don’t worry, we don’t judge and we will never tell.
Yes you are.
You are unique,
You are different,
You are your own person,
You are imperfect,
You are beautiful,
You make mistakes,
You act foolish sometimes,
You swear in your heart sometimes,
You are loving,
You are forgiving,
You can hold grudges sometimes,
You can smile like you have never been hurt and cry like you have never smiled before,
You can encouraging,
You are a builder,
You can pray,
You can destroy,
You can be weak sometimes,
You can can doubt yourself sometimes,
You deserve the best
You are a woman, and you are good enough.
The daunting tale of a beginning life. As I remember, so young and weak. Dressed all in pink beautiful eyes that change color. Laying on the bed, patiently waiting to eat. To week to cry. I must get some sleep. The food will come. As my eyes close to drift into a dream, a smiling face is above me picks me up gently. Holds me close. What a loving feeling.
