My mother always said never to do anything that you wouldn’t want printed in the newspaper and I’ve taken than to heart.
I hope this isnt getting too personal however I am 24 years old (just had my birthday Feb 29, yup im a leap year baby!)I lost my father 3 years ago this October. Growing up, I had some things that happened to me and impacted me negativly and unfortunately I exhibited poor behavior. My father told me daily “your actions are a permanent solution to a temporary problem”. It wasnt until after he passed, and I attempted to take my own life and failed, that I realized what he meant. Like I said, I am 24 and my first child, Conor Greyson, is due March 24th 2012 (so close!!) My son is the light in my life, even though he’s not here. And I think the advice my dad gave me got me through a dark time so that I could be blessed to have this child. Thank you for taking the time to read my submission.
