In an odd twist to the old belief that if you live together before you get married, your relationship won’t last, a new study has proven the opposite. The research, completed in Japan, proved that those who live together for more than 8 years end up getting married and staying together for long term.
The study points out that those who have been together for 8, 12 or 24 years are more likely to have lived together before getting married. This means those relationships that are long term actually prosper when they begin with co habitation.
