The Bloomberg Billionaires Index reports adding Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg to its list of certified billionaires after her net worth hit $1.03 billion on Tuesday. The resulting swing in her monetary value is a result of Facebook stocks closing at an all-time high.
Sandberg, who owns 12.3 million shares in the company, saw her stock value sky rocket. She now joins other billionaire wealth builders like Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, the chairman of food trader Louis Dreyfus, the world’s largest cotton and rice dealer and Kirsten Rausing, a beneficiary of a family trust that owns Tetra Laval, the world’s largest maker of milk and juice packaging.
The COO’s advice to Lean In at work has obviously caused her lean pockets to thicken. A woman at the helm of one of the most influential companies in existence is definitely worth listening to. Follow her advice.
