I was contacted by Desarie Anderson through my Marketing/Branding/Business Development consulting services on Fiverr to help her with a marketing strategy for her accounting business. We consulted via messenger about her goals and her expectations of my services. I outlined the services that I would provide for her which was a brilliant marketing strategy to help her generate leads ONLINE since she said she was too “shy” to do face to face lead building for her accounting business.

After building my own digital empire for more than 10 years I knew that I could create an amazing marketing strategy for her. I sent her an offer with details of what I would deliver and she accepted my offer. I expressed quite clearly that since this was a creative job she was purchasing my time and effort to help her with her business goals. She agreed.

After I spent my time researching, brainstorming and creating a marketing strategy that would meet her goals I delivered it to her via Fiverr 6 days before I promised I would. The report was 6 pages long and detailed a creative marketing strategy that I know will help her to reach her goals with a thorough explanation of how to implement each strategy.

After reading over my marketing strategy she expressed that she was not going to use my plan and therefore should not have to pay full price for it.

I told her that I would “accept” the cancellation because the only choices are DECLINE and ACCEPT. To my knowledge Fiverr does not mediate disputes.

If she agreed to purchase my time and effort for creating a marketing plan for her, and I delivered on every point that I promised, then my time has been spent and should be compensated. She offered to give me partial compensation since she did not want to use my marketing strategy and I declined. Fiverr does not offer partial payments. According to Fiverr, there are two options, accept the work or cancel it and receive a full refund.

I detailed how much work I had done and asked her to pin point where I failed to deliver what I promised. She could not.

Once again, I detailed every thing I did for her, hours and hours of research and creative work, and told her that I would not convince her to keep our agreement to pay me for my time and effort and if she thought that I did not deliver what I promised or did not value my time and attention to her business needs she could cancel and I would receive no compensation at all for the hours I spent focusing on creating a marketing concept for her business goals.

She cancelled immediately with no remorse.

I highly recommend that any person or hair salon owner in the Atlanta area or elsewhere stay far away from Desarie Anderson and her Accountants 4 Hairstylists business. Desarie Anderson is dishonest. She does not keep her word or agreements. She takes advantage of women who work independently.

If you can’t trust her to pay her bills, how can you trust her with your money?

Do not do business with this woman.

And you can contact me directly if you would like to talk to me about this incident.
