Hillary Rodhman Clinton, US Secretary of State resigned from office today.

Hillary Rodham Clinton officially resigned from her position as United States Secretary of State today, penning a letter to her boss President Barack Obama and thanking him for his friendship and the opportunity to serve . Hilary was the 3rd female to hold the country’s 2nd most powerful position, walking in the footsteps of Madeleine Albright and Condoleezza Rice.

After losing the 2008 Presidential election to President Obama, the two political powerhouses joined forces to lead this nation into redeveloping what President Obama once called ‘the greatest nation on Earth.’

In a press conference with the Associated Press, Hilary, who will be succeeded by John Kerry, had this advice to offer to individuals who are champions for a greater good.

“If you believe you can make a difference, not just in politics, in public service, in advocacy around all these important issues, then you have to be prepared to accept that you are not going to get 100 percent approval.” ~ Hillary Clinton
